VELATED KOAN

This metaludio is based in Velato, an esoteric programming language designed by Daniel Temkin that uses MIDI files as source code. Programs in Velato are defined by the pitch and order of notes.  Velato is Turing-complete, meaning it is able to handle any computation, making it versatile and powerful.  This Metaludio is a Velato program.  I leave it as an exercise to the reader to discover it’s output.

This Metaludio uses an extension of 17th century non mesuré notation, as employed by composers such as Luis Couperin and Elisabeth Jaquet de la Guerre, among others.
