MODULAR FORM
Modular form, dedicated to pianist Miguel Borges, is the second of the Metaludios that requires pre-recorded electronics. As in Prélude non mesuré, it uses a sampled grand piano tuned to the Bohlen-Pierce scale. The title refers to the mathematical objects that exist in the complex plane and that show numerous symmetries. The two pianos, the live one and the electronic one symbolize the real and imaginary parts of the complex plane.
