AN ERROR OCCURRED

An error occurred refers to the message that occasionally is shown when there is a transmission error in webpage serving.  It is a piece of extreme pianistic virtuosity. The mathematical basis from which the musical material originates uses a numerical sequence based on the Gray code.  This code, named after the physicist Frank Gray, is a binary numbering system used to correct errors in communication systems.
